Late Kim Sae-ron’s Diary Contains Exact Dates of Her 6-Year Relationship with Kim Soo-hyun
On March 17, Kwon Young-chan, head of the Korea Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, held a press conference at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency regarding the lawsuit against YouTuber Lee Jin-ho. He stated, “After Kim Sae-ron passed away, seven of her family members came to see me. I told them to disclose all the facts regarding Kim Soo-hyun if they wanted my help.“
Kwon Young-chan further revealed, “There is a letter that contains the exact dates of their relationship, from a certain date in 2015 to a certain year. If I were simply a normal counseling psychologist, I would have reported it to the police. However, as the head of the Korea Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, I couldn’t do that.” He then explained that when he asked Kim Sae-ron‘s family what they wanted to do, they prioritized taking action against YouTuber Lee Jin-ho over pursuing legal action against Kim Soo-hyun at this time.
YouTuber Kim Se-ui also weighed in, stating, “Think about it—why would Kim Sae-ron write down exact dates if it weren’t true? She documented their relationship from November 19, 2015, or was it November 9?—and continued writing for six years. For Kim Soo-hyun to remain silent all this time and only now, when he’s cornered, try to make contact—it’s completely unjust.”
He also disclosed additional details about Kim Sae-ron’s past actions regarding her alleged relationship with Kim Soo-hyun, “Kim Sae-ron once uploaded a photo on Instagram where she and Kim Soo-hyun were cheek-to-cheek, but she deleted it after facing backlash from people like Lee Jin-ho. Following that incident, she wrote another detailed post, specifying the exact timeframe of their six-year relationship, but ultimately decided not to upload it. Instead, she sent a KakaoTalk message to her mother, aunt and cousin, saying, ‘I was going to post this, but I didn’t.’ KakaoTalk records leave undeniable proof. The message contained clear dates and detailed records that cannot be denied.”
Moreover, Kim Sae-ron’s aunt reportedly told them, “Kim Sae-ron kept a diary. She meticulously wrote down all the precise dates, so there’s no way the family doesn’t know the truth.“
